Recent Initiatives: Jasmine's Law
Authored by Denise Rotheimer and named after her daughter, it enables a judge to double the sentence for convicted sex offenders who commit an act of sexual violence against minors, under the age of 18 while the victim was under the influence of alcohol at the time the offense was committed. Jasmine's Law recently was passed in both
